hey johnny i use oak flooring also. it's great kindling. you can make that oak kindling go a long way by splitting them in half. don't put to many in at once like i did. to hot to quick. i put to many in at once and left the door cracked to get it going, when i went to open the door to see how it was going the sudden rush of air sent the flames back at me
