    Hi Everyone,

Does it take a long time before the newness strink goes away of burning with a new stove? And, do you normally smell anything anyway. like you do with burning a fireplace? Thanks, Kim

The stink goes away after a good overnight burn. My wife put a pot of potpourri on the stove and that did the trick.

You won't have a wood burning smell in your house, everything is contained in the stove, kind of like a convection oven.

Another poster recently asked the same question.
You have to burn these stoves on high to cure the
paint. I suspect it's not cold enough out for people
to be cranking the stoves on high so probably the
reason we are seeing lots of people say the stove
    still smells after 15 hours.
