Well you cant heat with the stuff. Just ask anyone from the south. Hardwood is the only thing that will do the job unless its shoulder season and your home all day to feed the stove. %-P

Grommal, this has turned into a joke on this forum. It is an old wive's tale that you should not burn pine in a stove. No truth to it as many folks burn only pine. It works very well but does give a bit hotter fire along with shorter burns. Still no problem with it.
