How long can you keep pellets? I figured I will need about 3 tons next year if you use the chart I posted I'm sure it will be closer to 4 because the house will be kept warmer than when I used propane. The ? is if I buy 5 and have a ton left will it be ok till the next year? I am going to keep it in a non heated metal building with a cement floor and I will keep them on the pallets
 
Just keep them dry and your good to go.
