I like it......."Pellet Slob"! I wonder how Earnest would like that moniker?

I'm dumping my 16th bag into the hopper before I go to bed. I'm looking at about $80 in heating costs so far this fall, though I swear when pellets hit the burn pot all I hear is money ...

+2 more this morning, up to 11 now. It's getting colder here in the thriving metropolis of Meco.

Dont get me wrong I loved the pellet heat. I have an accentra that I used for three years when I believed in the industry and had to seek another alternate heat source because the industry got too greedy for my pocket. So now I am happy to say that I have not burned one bag yet.
The pellet stove is ready for whenever its needed.
Back on topic, temps have dropped drastically last week, they hover around 0-7C. Normally I would be using 1 bag every two days with these temps. (Oh yeah I used a thermostat too).

    Happy burning.

Have burned about 20 bags of Turman, but only because my husband fires up the stove when the temps hit 67 degrees. With the temps where they are, we should have burned probably half that.

Im guilty too. Any temp above 42 and my heat pump is more cost efficient than using the pellet stove.

But soon the 24/7 temps will be well in the the 30's and lower and the lil black heat box will be chugging along nonstop till sometime in late march.

Wife isn't happy unless it's 122 degrees in the place.
