Hi. We are installing a woodburning insert. We have put a 6" flexible liner down the chimney (goes to the top & above at the moment). We've modified the existing damper & created and installed the new damper seal panel. We're totally at a loss however to connect the stove pipe (exactly 6") to the flex liner, which is 5 7/8" I.D. and 6 1/8" O.D. This means we can't put the pipe inside or around the liner opening on the pipe itself. We've tried a stovepipe, but they don't come with both ends crimped (male). Please help.

You should be connecting the liner directly to the stove outlet with an adapter like this.....

If needed, which shouldn't if using an adapter, you can crimp the end going into the stove with a pair off pipe crimpers found at Home Depot or Lowes.
Usually found in the heating duct isle. Don't forget to seal around where the adapter goes into the stove with furnace cement for a nice tight seal.
Liner slides inside the adapter, adapter slides inside stove outlet. Meaning each piece on the lower joints is on the outside. Reason being, if creosote builds up enough to run down the liner it runs into the stove, rather than out the liner/adapter joints.
