Question:

I have a Huntsman Model #241C wood burning stove, mfg. by the Atlanta Stove Works, Inc. I understand this company is no longer in business.

My "Huntsman" stove is in need of new fire bricks on the entire inside of my stove. Did another company buy out Atlanta Stove Works or is there any place in which I can buy replacement bricks.

Answer:

These are "split" firebrick and are usually available in a good masonry supply yard. They are commonly made in 4 by 8 by 1 1/4 thick and 4 1/2 by 9 also.
