Had by buddy the Sthil mechanic look at my 51 last week. Its not oiling the bar and chain anymore. He put a new oiler on it but said where it drives off the crank is so wore that it wont work. Anyone know of a cobble job fix that maybe he dont know of? Or am I stuck with carryin around a can WD40 an sprayin it down every few cuts.

Dang - sounds like the oiler was likely fine, but the worm gear was worn - simple fix and cheap, I'd just pop the clutch again and do the repair - won't take long - you want that oiler working - no need to do more damage. Cheers!

It looks like just about any parts you need are available...
