The baffle on my muffler made its way off while cutting over the weekend. For the life of me I could not find the nut that held it on. I dug through my bolt buckets and found a nut that fits, but it closes off the exhaust ports. Is there a washer that goes behind the baffle? How much clearance do I need between the baffle and the muffler?

Thanks,
Dan

Thanks, but that didn't show the same muffler that my saw has.

I fixed it by just throwing a flat washer behind the baffle and bolting it back on. It seems to run just fine.
