    Helps that I can't leave the house without passing the stove, but it is always my last thought before opening a door. Never say never though. Glad it was nothing more serious than a cheap lesson.

    Took the camera and wagon but things are getting a little too slushy for plan A <> Gonna just take the tractor tomorrow for plan B i guess? ;)

    I used to live by this rule, however my routine now is to stuff the stove with the shorter chimney (lesser draft) full, and leave the door cracked a half inch while I go fetch wood and load the second stove. After the second stove (which has better draft, and does not require me to even open the front doors) is loaded, I go back and close the doors on the first.

    Hey loon you must be in the Far East to have that kind of light at 7.53pm as per pic. Our light is going around 6.30 pm in the sw ont. me thinks spring is begging to be here ????
