Ready to call the inspector. Then call ins. co. and let them know we are ready to use it. I am so nervous about the first couple of burns.I know it is installed per manufacture specs, but introducing a fire to a home makes me nervous.first two pics are the hearth, Diesel likes it already. I have 26 ft of chimney up the side. Stove is in the basement.Moisture readings are a piece of locas the county cut down in front of the house and gave all the wood. The other is a piece of maple , I was just checking to make sure it was seasoned, those reading mean I have 2 yrs worth of wood ready. We will be heating with wood very soon.I can't wait. It will be fine. Far less complicated and far less scary than you will ever believe.

I really like that hearth. Are you going to continue that tile pattern up the back?
Nice job. But.......something's missing.
Fire? ;)

I want to make sure the ins. co. knows about it first. We ask them about getting it, and want to make sure we do it thier way.

Good luck, you will be fine. Been burning 24/7 for 15 years now. Once you get the hang of your 30, your really gonna enjoy it. It is a heat monster with dry wood. Outstanding bang for your stove $$$$$$ for sure.
