The small piece might be a limb off the same tree in the other pic. Growth rings are wide and it measured 23" across.

looks like oak to me

Well cept for that first one. No clue what that is..
 
+1 on the right hand two pics. The bark, grain, and color are giveaways together. No clue on the left hand pic.
 
I would guess poplar for the first. Wouldn't bet my life on it.
