So, I use them as kindling....They start my fire up from cold real fast. It doesn't seem as if they're treated, I think they are just pine....any thoughts? Thanks!
 
i asked them for pallets last time i was there. i wanted them for stacking my wood on, though. they looked way sturdier than the kind i get off trucks. the guy said they reuse them so no luck.
 
I don't know ikea specifically but dealing with skids, thousands of them in a week, I can say that there is pine skids out there, but the majority are hard wood, usually not pressure treated, most likely heat treated for export. Pine isn't acceptable for export.
