In need of liner advice

I am looking at instaling wood furnace in basment plan on using one of 4 old chimney to vent using liner is this and easy task. also the chimney now ends in the attic there is about a 3 to 4 foot section gone and no hole in the roof what whould i do there. any brand suggestion on liner kit thanks for any and all advice
 
You're gonna need to get whatever is left of your chimney
inspected first to make sure it's safe to use for your furnace.
Once you know that, we can give you guidance.
There are other ways to vent your furnace, & if
your existing structure isn't code compliant, you may
hafta go another route...
 
there are no codes where i live. I am new to this inspecting the old chimney for what what would they look for thanks for you fast reply to orginal post
