Question:

I just moved into a house that has a wood boiler beside the oil fired boiler. It is a HS Tarm MB 55, 140,000 btu. The date on the top of it is 1979.It seems to be in really good shape and we intend to hook it up along side the oil boiler and try to heat our house with it instead of buying oil this year. Can anyone tell me where I can get an owners manual for this furnace? I am pretty new to things like this so any help or advice will really come in handy.

Answer:

Go to the Tarm web site.... hearth.com/tarm/hs.html - Contact them and you should be able to get a manual.

The boiler is a great machine....it'll do the job.
