has anyone done this? would like to put my regencey 2400i in the cellar. maybe on cement blocks. I know it won't be pretty. thanks for any replies. Rusty

I would check your local codes and your home insurance if they will be ok with that. Since it has not been tested for clearances outside a masonry fireplace you may have to install it with the standard clearances for an unlisted woodstove.
