Got the Buck model 74 installed today. Everything went well for the most part. Only thing that I could have done better would have been to cut out the damper more. I used an insulflex liner from Magnaflex which was easy to use and appears to be a very good liner. The part that could have been better was when I slid the liner down the chimney, the aluminum outer part of the liner got torn a little on the damper frame. The cerawool was still covering the stainless liner and I slid the aluminum back together best as I could and called it good. I could have used the chimney as it is in very good shape but I went with the liner anyway so I figured the torn place wouldn't hurt anything. Tonight I am having a couple small fires to break it in slowly. The temps today were in the 50's so we can have the door open to let some burning paint smell out. I'll post some pics when I get it lined out. Just wanted to say thanks for all the info I received from you guys here on the site.

Thanks again,
Rob

Grats, and don't be shy or slow about getting those pictures up.. If it weren't for the pictures, the whole interweb thing would just be cheesy instant messaging..
