Can this telescoping pipe be the first pipe I have off the stove?

It fits right over the flue on top of the stove or do I need a stove pipe adapter?

Looking at the flue collar on the Leyden, I'm pretty sure you're gonna need the stove adapter. DW slips like that can easily go right on a dedicated vertical flue collar, but the one on your stove probably won't give you a secure fit.
