Hi Everyone,

I am thinking of purchasing summer heats 55-shp22. I want to install it in my finished basemet. It is possible, and what parts I need?

Oh....and what does the 55-shp22 cost?

Thanks for your advice.

the following is a link for New york dealers, some install and others like Lowes and Home depot are cash and carry.

Here is another link for the stove manual giving general installation operation and parts info.

Price depends on whether you self install or dealer install.

Basement install works best when insulated as yours is. Remember this is a space heater most effective in the area where it is placed. How the heat will migrate to the rest of your house depends on many factors. Do a search on "basement install" to see what I am talking about.
