I was browsing Home Depot's website and I saw something. Tell me what the difference is between these two things. You might have to put a zipcode in to see the product. Mine is 25701

Here's the deal

R-13 Kraft 15 In. x 94 In. x 3.5 In. Rolled Batts, 88.13 Sq. Ft. $33.45 a roll

R-13 Kraft 15 In. x 32 Ft. x 3.5 In. Mini Continuous Roll, 40 Sq. Ft. $9.68 a roll.

The way I'm reading it. It's the same stuff except one is cut in lengths and is a little over twice as much, but cost over three times as much

Is it the same stuff other than price? And why is it such a price difference. Do you think the 9.68 is a typo?

Thank you for your help

I remember encountering the same thing last year. For some reason the rolls are cheaper.

I believe that both prices are correct. Needless to say, I have always favored the rolls for 9.68.

The difference in material price may be made up by the reduction in labor cost to cut the roll into chunks. The price of convenience. I too buy the larger roll and cut my own. I'm a little weird though and also save the unused portion of the roll and use it to partially fill the next cavity.
