My husband and I bought a house in May 2015 and it came with a beautiful old Fisher Grandpa wood burning stove in great condition. However we will never use it because my husband is building a bedroom in the room stove was in. Does anyone know where or what websites would be best to post pictures to sell it on?

THere is a classified section on his forum. Craigslist also seems to be popular. I would check local laws because some states it is illegal to sell a non-epa stove.

you also need to find out what the local market for them is. In my area they are only $200 to $300. But some areas they can go as high as $600 to $700. And by the way they are far from antiques just vintage

They are also a seasonal item. You'll find most people looking for a stove have one set up for the heating season now. They move faster with higher prices in September and October. Watch your local Craigslist for average price. A Grandpa can be an older series with flat top doors to glass and brass on a UL listed model.

Selling those things can be a real hassle. I'll come get it out of your way...==c
