I remember a fellow not far from us who had one for sale. Looked to be in good condition and he even painted it. Sat in his yard for at least 2 years. Don't know what ever became of it.

There are some of these made in other countries and they have some really great ideas and have made them much safer too.

I had looked around for one of these to put behind my tractor, but didn't like the look or the price.

Thistle's actually looks a lot safer than the one I remember. I think our table was only about 30" long so much of the log was hanging over on the right at least at the start. I always thought the table should have been about 6' long to support the weight of the log and prevent any binding. I would never attempt to use anything like it today. I remember dad only used it one year and probably thought it was too dangerous. In the old days before chainsaws, it would have had its place.
