Judging by the way my Ryobi works, if anyone is interested in an electric splitter I would get this Iron Horse.

I had an Iron "Hore" once. She had this one good arm that would make you forget all about that thing on her neck. Went by the name of Pittsburgh Nellie.

Any way to get an Iron Horse splitter by mail? I'm ready to get either a Ryobi or Iron Horse, obviously preferring the more stronger Iron Horse...

well i got lucky and my sister in law and husband were nice enough to stop and pick me up an Iron Horse splitter in Springfield tonight on their way through town heading to New Hampshire. we'll meet them up there Saturday and i can get it then. if all goes well i can test it out a bit up there and worse case scenario i don't like it i can return it on my way home. i doubt that will happen though, for $250 if there was anything that bad about it i'm sure Elk would have said.

i don't think they'll do any kind of mail order. they wouldnt even let me pay for it over the phone for it to be picked up later.
