How are your flamingos holding up considering the conditions?

They say we might get a wintry mix this evening and changing to rain tomorrow, maybe, depending and such.

I turned the stove off at 8:30am to clean it. 8 hours later the stove is still off and it's 71 in my living room.

First time it's been over 0 in a month I believe. Stove still needed a bag this morning, but usage should drop down to 1.5 bags a day for 2-3 days, then back to -20. Its a smoking hot 4* out right now.

However, it's snowing, and I'll take -20 over snow any day -_-

Really? I am just the opposite. Snow is a blast.......but -20??? There is nothing remotely fun about that. But, I'd rather be outside than inside.

York county, Pa here, deer season "firerarms" ended yesterday freezer is half full between my daughter and me. As far as cold weather we are lucky if we had a 29 deg night yet, forecast is a high of 65 on Monday, very mild so far.

I have been still running my stove 24/7, on lowest settings just to keep the chill off.

9 degrees 15 inches of blowing snow- no visibility- all highways are closed in Minnesota. Stove is faithfully doing its duty burning two year old Indeck pellets. House is a cozy 72 degrees with the Bixby idling.

Nah, no need for OMV style security out here. honest, hard working, middle class folks around here. not sure where I fit in?

Leave the keys in the ignition, back door unlocked. If anyone wanted they could clear me out in no time.

Got 8" of snow since Friday night. Today's high was 9° and it has dropped to 4° on its way to a predicted low of -8°. Shut the stove down at 10:50 this morning and started it back up at 4:10 this afternoon. Currently 71° in the house.

Pretty close to 6" of wet heavy stuff. A few miles in any direction they got half that, just lucky I guess. Going down to the low teens tonight.
