Does anyone know if mountain ash is good to burn?

I have a couple of trees coming down (maple) and a mountain ash also, just wondering if I should keep it or dispose of it with the boxelder trees.......

I have to go pick up this wood and want to know if it's as good as white ash or is the quality of the boxelder? If it were in my own yard, yes, it would be a "no-brainer"

Different genus than White ash. Sorbus aucuparia. It's considered good firewood. Burns well.

Search on Rowan found this info - Like all its sister and cousins in the Rose tree family, Rowan makes a good hot fire, which burns slowly.
