Is there a newer book like Wood Heat Safety by Shelton?

I recently came across a reference to a newer book that was supposed to be a replacement for 'Wood Heat Safety' by Jay Shelton, but failed to write the name of the book down.

Does anyone know the book that I'm referring to?

Thanks,

Bill

I don't know, but his "Woodburner's Encyclopedia" is still the best book ever written on the subject IMHO. Out of print, but still available used thanks to Amazon:

FarmerBill: If you are interested in the above book(s), go to this website: http://www.worldcat.org/oclc/2542628&referer=brief_results

put in your zip code and click on "Find Libraries" to see if a library near you has the book.

Other books by this same author can be found here: http://www.worldcat.org/oclc/2542628&referer=brief_results

click on a book of interest and then do the same zip code entry steps to see if a library near you has the book(s) you are interested in.

Thanks for the tips.

The "Woodburner's Encyclopedia" looks like a great book, but I was looking for something more recent. Back in the early 80's I worked installing stoves and inserts in NE Ohio. At that time we used an adapter to connect inserts and hearth stoves directly to the damper frame on fireplaces, which is no longer allowed, so I'm looking for something more recent.

The worldcat site is a great tool. Thanks!
