Very, very nice. Yet once again I have to go throw a beer can at my ugly hearth after seeing pics like this.
It took this old girl months to get her sh.t together on how to make it look the way I wanted, and done to where it would be safe.
Don't go throwing beer cans, lol functionality is whats important. I just get crazy ideas in my head, and I have to see them through.
I know I drove you crazy with questions fossil, but I had to get it all right in my head, before I could work it out through my hands. By the way, I used 22 gage steel on the back for the heat shield and spaced it out 2". It worked out great.
In my case, that was a pretty short drive.
I think you did a fantastic job and it turned out beautifully. Rick
