We have had trouble with our Lopi gas stove since we have purchased it. Our dealer has refused to service it beyond the 2 year warranty. Our problem is that when we light the pilot, turn on the gas, after about 1-2 minutes, all fire goes out, including the pilot light. Does anyone have any suggestions for us? We checked the chimney to see if it had any obstruction and it was clear. The dealer replaced the ignition apparatus (not sure if that is the name), but the electronic ignition has been replaced and we still are having problems. Any suggestions out there? Jeff D.

Welcome to the forum. A few questions for you - What Lopi model do you have? You mentioned electronic ignition, so does your unit light the pilot by itself before lighting the burner or are you manually pushing an igniter (spark) button while pushing a button on the gas valve?
Concerning your burner issue, do the flames lift off the surface of the burner right before the unit turns off, or does it look normal and just shuts off?
Also, please provide info on your vent configuration e.g. how much vertical and or horizontal pipe.

One quick check of the venting is to see if the unit burns with the glass or front OFF the unit.
If it works fine opened up like that, & goes out when you replace the glass/front, you've probably got a blockage in the venting...
Bees, birds, insulation anything can obstruct air flow.
Also, check to make sure your venting sections - INCLUDING THE CAP - are completely & securely assembled. If you're sucking exhaust back into the burner, it'll
starve for Oxygen. This situation will generally lead to sooting..
Is your glass black on the inside?
