I moved these posts from the alcove install thread. They are a hearth installation and deserve their own thread. It looks very nice. You are going to love that stove. What is the floor material, tile?

You could get another piece of that limestone. It could be 1'x3' piece that sits on the floor infront of the stove. It would like it was on purpose.

Sharp looking.

When I was a Jotul dealer on Long Island, the Oslo is what was primarily burned in both showrooms. Best burning stove by Jotul in my opinion back in those days. You will love it

Very nice install, I would have liked to keep mine a bit more trim like yours but my fire code calls for 18" of non-combustible material in front of the door.

I've been looking at 18" tile to install in front of the hearth. Just gotta find something that matches. So far this thing rocks. It was 37 degrees in New York the other night and the house was a comfy 72 degrees throughout the night. Ceiling fans definitely help move the warm air to the bed rooms in our ranch.
