Looking to sell these Jotul wood stoves. What would be a fair price to ask for them? Having problems adding photos. One is a Jotul 118 and one Combifire no. 1. They are both approximately 40 to 50 years old. Similar images can be found on the hearth.com site. That is how I found the forum.

Yeah so the thing about both those old guys is that they have parts that are likely to wear out (if they haven't already) and can't be replaced. 118 likes to crack sides, the #1 it's the rails for the slide-under door. That limits their value sadly, because they were wonderful heaters.

Both are in good condition. No cracks and the door to the #1works well.

If in very good condition offseason the 118 would bring about $500-600. Enameled maybe $600+. During peak season enameled could go for $8-900. Very good condition means no cracks, interior burn plates and baffle in great condition, enamel still looking sharp.
Combifire is hard to say. Guessing it would go in the $400 range off season and maybe $600 during peak season?
