Good to know, thanks. I wish the author could have clarified which android version is "the latest version" It seems android is upgraded every month. My device runs android 4.1.2, and I notice no difference from v2.2, which I like better because I can move apps to the external storage. Newer versions you can't, and the device memory is just 1.5 GB. Trade off- the device was just $30 bucks, I can't see spending hundreds of dollars for a smartphone. My smartphone sold for over $300 a year ago, now there is a newer shinier, bigger device that sells for $300 and last years model is just $30. This is my second device. I bought my first smartphone, LG Optimus ,paid $225, 2-1/2 years ago. It's on Craigslist and Amazon.com last 2 weeks for $20. No takers.
