sorry but its just one of those perfect burn nights, hot fire, low 20's outside, ol lady and dog asleep, watching ax men, drinking a good bourbon, i just had to share. Got poplar and hickory in there now

And up the chimney it all goes... :eek: It's ok, I'm guilty as well. When it all comes together its worth it. BTW looks like the dog is loving it.
 
for sure, as bulldog he loves the warm fires on cold nights. He is covering up the redskins logo must have something to do with how they played this weekend
 
Beautiful brick hearth by the way. Cherry wood floor? Hard to tell by the firelight, but looks redish.
