I got a half-dozen bags of the "new" Maine Woods pellets and ran them last week. Many nights we hit the mid-teens and the temp range was more like February than December. The pellets burned hot and the ash was surprisingly low. Although not as "scientific" as other reviews of pellets, I would recommend a trial before committing to a ton(s). I would put these just below the Barefoots in the "pantheon of pellets"..... If I find these during my spring buy, I would certainly buy them.

I received 2 tons of them last week. They are really good. I've burned many different brands.

Good to see they have resolved their problems ....
