Kent is still making wood stoves and inserts correct?

My dad has a 1984 Kent insert that needs a new firebox and wanted to look at rebuild vs buy new costs. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

J.

Cut your losses get a new EPA insert, Scrap that pre EPA old smoke dragon Kent insert. The new insert will use a lot Less wood, less wood to cut, no smoke, more heat 70% efficiency and and Warrantied.

Arbutus, the New Zealand company that made your dad's Tile Fire closed their doors back in 1990. The models we sell today are made by an Australian company that subsequently acquired the rights to the Kent name and logo. The new models are very different than the old Tile Fire, and don't share any parts at all. If your dad wants to rebuild his Tile Fire, he'll need to have any parts needed fabricated.
