I just re-builded a pole barn for in-laws and have broken 2x4 trusses, was thinking about making kindling out of them. what do you think? Yes or NO
 
Untreated wood is good to go! Cheers!
 
I say yes. Trusses are probably untreated and also probably really dry.
 
That's what I do with small, untreated dimensional lumber. Go for it.
 
Should work nicely.
