bob mr daksy I ordered the variable valve fitting for my Robert shaw gas valve you suggested. now I can move my flame up variably on my v/c castings gas stove. it was simple to install and works great!

BTW, I corrected the way you had my handle spelled...
No problem, tho...NOBODY seems to spell it or pronounce it correctly...
