    I am looking for an energy efficient fireplace insert, with as large a window as possible. This would be to replace an existing fireplace. Any suggestions ?



    Answer:

    Jotul has some new wood inserts that have large glass.
    Vermont Castings WinterWarm also has a very large window..keep in mind that Vermont Castings is currently in financial trouble (3/2004).
