WOODBUTCHER

Minister of Fire
My BIL and I marked a bunch of trees to take down at his place. So we broke out the 660, 5100s and some wedges.
After we clean this mess up we have about 10 more to take. It's a good mix of Hickory, White Ash, Red Maple and Sugar Maple.
Since getting the 5100s a few years back, Me and the saw are a good match Plunge cutting and setting a hinge. Good control with that little hotrod.
I'm on the right..........

Nice work!
I looked at the pictures and thought how funny it was that all over the country people are doing the same things at the same times and the scenery looks more or less the same. Then I scrolled up and saw you're only about 40 min from me.
Small world.

That looks like some good work. I especially like that ash in the second picture. Those are a dream to cut up. No worry about ground strike; just have to watch the toes. Don't even have to roll the log to finish the cut.

It looks like you won't even have to bend over to buck those up. nice job criss-crossing the logs as you felled them.

Woodbutcher nice job, how much wood do you think you'll get out of the trees.

zap

Looks great. Two of you cutting with those two saws will make very quick work of it.

Das right, we bad... haha

For the next few, I think I'm gonna need the big bar on the 660, some of the ones we marked are a little fat!!! Can't wait to do some more bro!!!

Zapny, We're thinking maybe 4-5 out of this drop, but we have a lot more trees to go
