I guess I'll be the first to ask, what is a Leek? I assume some type of plant, do you eat it? :lol:
 
Zapny - while not a typical spring food, sounds like some potato and leek soup might be on the menu!

Excellent! Last year I left some leeks out in the garden - sort of forgot about them. I wound up digging them out of the snow late February and making a nice batch of potato leek soup. You'll have to post a pic of your soup.
