Question:

In order to sell my house, I need a C.O. from the Building Department which requires the specific installation clearances for the LeMarquis woodstove purchased in 1980. The label on the back of the stove has the following information: EM?BOIS, B.1080. Brussels, Belgium, Made in Belgium, No.9253064. Any help that you can provide would be <underlinegreatly</underline appreciated. [email protected]

Answer:

Parts for the stove are available at:

Woodman Assoc.

they can be reached at the # listed on https://www.hearth.com/partsplace.html
maybe they have a manual or copy of the clearance label.

I seem to remember about 22" from the rear with a top flue since it has a heat shield on the rear.
