Can I connect a 6" wood stove single wall stovepipe to a rigid 6" chimney liner (Duravent or Heat-Fab) and run it through an existing 9" flue that was designed for a freestanding fireplace?

Maybe. Can you provide more details on the current fireplace. Make, model, maybe pictures?
