There is a booth featuring 3 wood stove companies at the DC Green Festival this coming weekend. They are Hwam, Caluwe and Tulikivi. Check out stoves here and more info about the Green Fest.

The Caluwe puts 30% of heat in room and 70% in homes water heating system. The Hwam has some automatic combustion controls and beeps when more wood is needed. And the Tulikivi masonry stove is designed to quickly release heat before it stores it, so you don't have to wait for heat from a cold start. We got a booth this year because we were tired of only seeing solar panels and geothermal technology at this Green Festival.

Thanks for the info. The Caluwe line is interesting. We get frequent requests for wood stoves that also heat water.

You guys snubbed woodstock stoves? Should have asked them to showcase their masonry heater they have in testing, no need to go overseas: http://woodstocksoapstoneco.blogspot.com/search/label/Masonry Heater
