wood box full, lights out, watch it burn :)
Just makes me feel warm, which I am, over dressed to be in next to the stove in & out of wood door.
Job done.
I emptied the stove right before I filed the wood box. 1 coal buck of ashes per full wood box of wood. (birch)

Your stone looks great behind the King. When I get around to improving the cement board behind mine, I'll be back for another look.

I like the wood box/delivery system as well. I've thought about a couple of doors I could open up and stick the loader on the tractor through. My wife isn't too wild about the idea.

looks good Bogy
A few questions; does that stove heat your whole house?
Is that a cold air return vent above you wood box?
Is that you flying around in those big red powered panties?

Nice! Do you do any flying in the winter up there?
I have a similar flying contraption.

Cool! Allot faster than mine. 26 mph top end for me.
quite a few of them up here.
Yes, sometimes fly in the winter. Changing the jets & keeping the chute out of the snow is a PIA though. So not very often.

Very nifty set up you have with that wood box dave...cool powered parachute too.

Cool set up! What are you using to tug that trailer around? Nice trailer too.

Since we are talking flying machines, do you guys have any advice for what to do with an old Rotec that has been in the barn since my FIL cart wheeled it and busted up the port side wing 20 years ago? It looks pretty archaic compared to yours. I assume that the aluminum should just be recycled but not sure if the motor/prop are worth anything? Am I also correct in assuming that there is no justification in bending new metal and replacing the fabric?

Anything can be fixed, but after 20 year of sitting the engine will likely have corrosion issues unless you took preventative measures. Unless you really want to get it flying again you might be best to just put it up for sale on

Cool thanks. I'm pretty sure it just got taken apart and put in the garage after the incident. We are in the process of cleaning up his estate and just need to get rid of it. Is it worth the hassle of selling it or should it just turn into recycled metal?
