I saw this yesterday at an auction house. They use it to heat the interior of an open floor plan building.

they burn all pine and cedar unseasoned. It looks like the made it from a bouy and some 55 gal steel drums
 
Now there is an interesting looking monster
 
can't tell for sure, but it looks like it has no insulation on anything....perhaps some uv resistant spray foam would be in order???
 
Steampunk heat.

EDIT: looks like they use the "split and burn" seasoning technique.

hey bb i ran into one of your fellow hookers at the golf course last weekend, he was with the "hercules" unit , i forget the unit designation , and get this he's from nokesville origionally, i'll have to get you two in touch
