I might have an opportunity to buy a 1 1/2 year old Lopi Freedom Insert. I know these stoves can be flush mounted with an adpater kit, or I see they can set 7" out onto the hearth. Question is it either flush mounted or 7" or can I mount any where in between????? Thanks

its all or nothing with those units, and i reccommend you install it w/ 7" out, rather than flush... you will get more radiant heat and a cooktop surface.
