Installed our pellet stove in our new home 2 months ago. Worked great in our old home with a straight vent pipe. Our new home has a vent pipe that goes straight out and up now. Not sure if that is an issue? We've completely cleaned it (baffles, fireback, refractory, backwall covers, convection blower, exhaust blower, and vent pipe) and that gives us a good fast flame for 2-3 days max and then we go through the cleaning process again. Checked the door gasket with a dollar bill and it's tight. Air vent pulled all the way out and makes no difference. Why are we still getting a lazy flame and the pot filling up?

Are you saying that this is the same stove you had before and you took it with you on your move, or is it new?

Those symptoms are classic "lack of airflow", due to either a dirty stove/exhaust, or possibly a weak comb. blower. The out & up exhaust you have now should produce even better draft than the straight out.

Is it possible that the damper rod became unhooked from the damper in the move and really isn't doing anything? If you remove the exhaust blower, and reach in the plenum toward the stove, you might be able to feel the damper rod & damper to see if it's connected still. A long shot, but might be worth checking.

Did you check the exhaust blower while it was out of the stove and clean? (make a power "test" cord" and plug into 120 v)

Maybe during removal/installation the ash pan drawer/rails somehow got bent and is not sealing properly? How did you lift & move it, some sort of lift on wheels? If that ash pan drawer is not tightly closed and latched it will burn lazy. Just a thought...

Please describe the venting starting at the stove, Need lengths and orientation of all straight runs; types, numbers, and orientation of all elbows. Diameter of venting as well.
