We are looking at both the "1250i" and the "Answer" inserts, Lopi does not give the specs for the viewing area in their literature. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has one of these inserts who could give me the dimensions of the glass.

Thanks!
Charles

Hi Charles, I have the Lopi Answer and I like it a lot. I'm away from my home for another week or so, so I can't give you the viewing area dimensions, but it is about 75" the width of the stove and about 10-11" high. It is a nice viewing area, and I enjoy watching the fire burn in it.

PM me next weekend if you haven't heard another response by then.

DBoon, thanks for the info. We are in somewhat of a hurry to order an insert hoping that we can have it installed in time to use during our upcoming two week vacation. We are comparing the Lopi units to one by Regency, and it looks like our choice will come down to the one with the largest view.

Thanks Again!
Charles
