    Do any of you have any experience with the Lopi Yankee Bay? Been looking at this stove. Looks like its a nice model.

    The Yankee Bay is the Insert
    and just Yankee is the free stand

    it is the same stove as the Avalon Astoria Bay but different style face trim.
    Both made by Travis Ind.

    the freestanding units are the same but for some reason the Avalon Astoria has a larger hopper.

    So on your searches about the stove you can go by the same info people may say about the Astoria.

    The thermostat mode is Only OFF and ON mode. No hi/low mode available.
    but you have 5 heat setting for the burning temp when it is on.
