I have located a 1,000 gal used LP tank in good condition which I intend to use for pressurized storage. The seller wants $850 and will deliver it to my site. Looking for opinions on whether this is a good price. What do you think?

The rule of thumb used to be $1 a gallon, but that got bumped to around $1.20 as the price of scrap steel rose. And that was the you-pick-it-up price. So yeah, that sounds like a heck of a deal to me.
