Hello

I am working on a Magnum BabyCountrySide. Just put in a MF-3650 high speed blower. Then after taking out the set screw to the auger collar the auger motor was fused on and I could not remove it!

So I had to take the side doors off, then the top off and then the back off to get the auger and motor off in one piece. What a PITA. oh well, then I used the Bench Grinder wire wheel and a smaller wire wheel on my drill/driver to clean off the dirt and rust! Then sprayed with dry moly spray and replaced the top and bottom auger bushings with brand new ones! See pics.

Then I re-installed the auger and slapped a new Gleason-Avery 2-RPM motor on. Had to change it to make it go clockwise looking at it from the rear. Now the Auger is AUGERING and the exhaust Fan is FANNING. LOL

However, there is a vacuum issue because heat level 2 light is flashing. That goes away when the vacuum switch is jumped. The ignitor gets hot when the ac test cord is attached, but does not turn on during startup. Anyone know what might cause this?

If my stove doesn't see the vacuum switch made, it doesn't go into startup, thus no ignitor power. Does the ignitor get hot if you jumper out the vacuum switch?

No, I jumped out the vacuum switch so the auger turns. Auger turns real well now. LOL
However the ignitor does not get hot.

Fuse, bad wire, bad triac, any other safety switch(es)…the usual suspects.

Yes thanks, I will let you know. I am getting a test control panel in this week. So if I do not get 120 vac on startup (I will check with my meter) then it is a bad control board.

Hello

Well, I got it working well doing a manual start.
The vacuum switch was shot and the ash pan gasket was too thin!
